How It Works

The GentleMax Pro™ is the gold standard for effective hair removal in skin types I-VI, which includes most skin types. The GentleMax Pro™ excels in providing safe, high-speed, effective laser hair removal with high patient satisfaction and comfort. Typically, permanent hair removal requires 6-8 treatments, but some patients require more. To reduce discomfort, the laser uses a patented cooling system that sprays cryogen to deeply cool the top layer of your skin before and after every pulse of the laser. Depending on the size of the area being treated, treatment may last a few minutes or an hour, or more.

Treatment Aftercare

After a GentleMax Pro treatment, you can resume normal activities, but sunscreen must be worn on any treated areas whenever exposed to the sun. Limiting sun exposure to treated areas by covering them with clothing or staying indoors is best. You may also be advised to use a formulated skin care product after the procedure.

Laser Hair Removal and Skin Color

Previous laser hair reduction and removal technology could not safely be used on patients with darker skin tones due to the potential to develop post-laser pigmentation changes. GentleMax Pro can safely be used on darker and ethnic skin tones.
