Treatments take place in your practitioner’s office. Your practitioner will use one of the 2 Matrix applicators to deliver pulses of energy onto targeted areas of the skin. Depending on the treatment you and your practitioner decide is best for you, you will receive a non-invasive to minimally invasive treatment that will compare in sensation to a sunburn.

Yes! This allows the Matrix system to cater to a diverse range of skin types, depending on the skin condition and applicator used. Check with your local provider about which treatment is right for you.

The Matrix system can cater to patients looking for quick red-carpet treatments that take as little as 30 minutes to more advanced treatments that take about an hour, depending on the area being treated.

Depending on the applicator used, Matrix treatments range from non-invasive to minimally invasive. Some patients may feel slight discomfort. Topical numbing creams can be applied to ease discomfort. Be sure to talk this over with your practitioner prior to treatment.
